Who can make the best cake?????

The Lawrence County Fairboad invites you to enter the 3rd Annual Baking Contest! The fair is looking for the best homemade CAKE in Lawrence County. Entries will be accepted on SATURDAY JULY 5 from 12-2pm at the Community Building-lower level. There is a $2.00 entry fee per person.

RULES

Only 2 cakes per person

Cake mix may be used as the base as long as there is at least one added ingredient

Frosting or icing must be homemade

Recipes must accompany cake and must be printed out on a 3x5 recipe card

DO NOT put your name on the card

Cake must be in a non-returmable pan

Cakes will be auctioned on Saturday July 5th at 5:00pm at the Show Arena. Winners and prizes will be annouinced prior to the auction. Money from the auction goes to the Zukunft Park Fund.

1st Place cake wins $100.00

2nd Place cake wins $50.00

3rd Place cake wins $25.00

Your judges are Bob Bridge from The Times- Mail, Shannon In The Morning And Deb from THE OLDIES CHANNEL.COM and Sandy and Orval Hoffman.
